This weekend I attended my first antique fair and it was – AMAZING!
I was looking for a day road trip destination and google search pointed me to the little town of Round Top with population of 90 people. I’ve never heard of the town before. Only one and a half hours drive from Houston and it happened to be an Antique Fair week.
There was old and there was new, and there were a lot of inspiring items and people!
At some point we got a bit overwhelmed and decided to just drive down the main road, which took us to La Grange, where the GPS led us to a cute little farm/winery, Blissful Folly Farm. At first glance it seemed a bit unimpressive, and perhaps it was in comparison to other wineries in the area, but after just a minute, the beauty of this place really sinks in. Because of its’ remote location, the only thing you could hear were the crickets and the live band they had playing and even better, all their wines are made with honey! And if you know me, you know that I love honey!
I’ve also attempted to make my first video to share the experience with you. I hope to make more in the future! Enjoy!
