Office Cable Management

The aesthetic issue with office spaces is that there are usually lots of cables. And let’s face it, cables aren’t pretty. With two computers and two lamps, our goal was to minimize cable visibility as much as possible.

First, we mounted the power strip under the desk.

Second, Dmitry used Signum from Ikea to bundle all the excess cable in one place (btw, my cat loves chewing my Mac power cable, so thankfully now she cannot get to it).

From my side of the table, I only had one cord for the Mac and one cord for my lamp. While I love the industrial look of the lamp, I wanted it to look neat, so I found these awesome Beotto cable management buttons and the company agreed to send them to me for free to review! (Woo-hoo, my first product review!)

They are great for keeping long cords in place.

One word of caution though, the 3M sticker on the back is extremely sticky, so make sure the button is in the exact position where you want it before sticking it on!

You can also use them by your bedside table or in the car to hold phone chargers, etc.
