How to Photograph Everything: Simple Techniques for Shooting Spectacular Images is an awesome coffee table book. It’s a hardcover, 328-page, 40-chapter book full of inspiring images. But the best part about it are simple tips on techniques and equipment needed to achieve similar results.

I found this candle at Target and it smells AMAZING, but not overpowering! I’ve been burning it every other night for about 2 weeks now and it is still alive. 🙂

A gentleman at work makes these beautiful wooden bowls as a hobby for himself and his wife. I’ve tried to convince him to open an Etsy shop, but he doesn’t want to put a price on his fruits of love. Thankfully for me, he wasn’t entirely happy with this Hackberry bowl because it cracked and he had to fill in the crack with resin. I absolutely fell in LOVE with this bowl the second he showed it to me and he agreed to give it up for a minimal donation from my side (truly, you cannot put a price on his work!)

This bowl will make a perfect addition to my console table for storing keys and sunnys.

My favorite March experience was going to Google Fiber office in Austin, TX during the SXSWedu conference. Something about the Google environment invigorates your mind and soul and gets the creative juices flowing the second you walk inside.

I should buy that book. I need to learn to take better pictures, but I want to get a decent camera (i.e., anything but my iphone) first.

That wooden bowl looks amazing! I would say the crack adds some character to it. If he were to sell his bowls I'd have bought a bigger one :)
