A couple of weeks ago I saw an amazing recipe on At The Picket Fence blog by Claire from A Little CLAIREification. Aside from the amazing pictures, the recipe looked amazing! I mean, you’re cooking with wine? I am sold already. Add cheese, mushrooms, and cream and I am drooling! I knew I had to try it soon. And today was the day!

I did make a couple of variations from the original recipe: 1. I used only 1 lb of baby bella mushrooms; 2. I used a few cut in small pieces chicken tenders; 3. I added some carrots (hence my version is a little bit more orange ).
The soup turned out oh so delicious! I don’t even want to know how many calories there are in one spoon of it :). I even pulled our nice china for this one. Had to do the honors! Thanks, Claire, for the recipe!
